International Slefie Day is just around the corner (June 21st and yes, such a day exists and is celebrated around the world!), so we’ve put together a short list of all the beautiful and unique spots around the city that are perfect for your Tel Aviv selfie.
Numerous gadgets and apps were specifically designed for selfies – apps that add effects to your image, filter apps, selfie sticks and many more. But in reality, with the right backdrop you don’t need any gadgets at all. So, just in time for Selfie Day, here are the most beautiful selfie spots in Tel Aviv so you can take your pic, tag and share!
A Couple’s Selfie on the Bridge of Love
The perfect timing for this romantic location would be the afternoon, after you’ve rested in your cozy hotel room. The bright and sparkling Bridge of Love over the Yarkon River is filled with hundreds of padlocks of varying sizes and colors, which couples have locked to it to declare their everlasting love. Love locks are one of the most popular global phenomena and we are happy it arrived in Tel Aviv because now you can use your vacation as an opportunity to have a small love ceremony and commemorate it with a colorful selfie.

Freedome Selfie with the WIngs of the City
Not far from your hotel in Tel Aviv, in the Tel Aviv Port, you will find one of the most inspiring sculptures in the city, one you might have seen on someones instagram page: Wings of the City sculpture. The art work, which stands at a whopping 3 meters tall, has been in Tel Aviv since 2012 and is a gift from the Jewish Mexican community to mark 60 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries. Naturally, since the birth of the selfie culture this sculpture became a popular attraction and tourists from all over the world use it as the backdrop of their selfie.

A Cultural Selfie in the Habima Square
Thanks to this particular selfie you can now discover that true name of one of the most prominent landmarks of the city. The statue at the center of the Habima square, nicknamed Circles, is actually called Elevation. It was created by Menashe Kadishman, a renowned Israeli artist, and it is not entirely impossible someone else will take a selfie with the statue’s twin brother in Toronto at exactly the same time you do it in Tel Aviv. We would recommend you leave your hotel in the afternoon, enjoy a Habima production (although the shows are in Hebrew, many are translated simultaneously into English) and then enjoy a nice cup of coffee and take a selfie to commemorate your cultural evening.
A Selfie from Above
On the 49th floor of the Azrieli Towers you can see the entire city from above – a view that no other rooftop can match. This is the highest observatory in the middle east and it offers stunning views of the city, that suddenly looks like a tiny playground. And since you’ve made it there, you might as well enjoy some good old shopping in the Azrieli mall, which is packed with some fashion brands, both local and international.
